108th Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede

" Feel The Horsepower! "

This is the theme of 108th IPE Stampede to be held in Armstrong starting August 29th till Sept 2nd 2007 from 7.30 am to 10.00 pm daily. It is being organized at Armstrong Fairgrounds with over 1500 exhibitors from various categories. Tickets are being sold for $10 per day or $40 for the whole event ( i.e. 5 days).

Our minister of health, George Abbott is supposed to officially open the fair in the evening of August 29th. There will be unlimited entertainment and fun with bands like Jack Jackson (Classic Country Music), Lotus ( An Eclectic blend of original and luminescent sounds) and Canadian Whitewater. (Bluss grass Band)

So if you happen to visit Armstrong this weekend, then you can also checkout other local attractions like: Huntinghawk Vineyards, The Historic O' Keefe Ranch, Chickadee Ridge Miniatures or take a tour of The Village Cheese Company.

The Dodge Truck Stage under the big tent in the food fair area is one of the most popular gathering points of the IPE. Great food and a variety of musical styles keeps the crowd entertained.

Don't miss out the largest agricultural exhibition of Western Canada. For more information visit official website for this fair: 108th Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede
