17th Annual Festival of Trees

Everyone is cordially invited by Santa Tom and Mrs Claus to the ' 17th Annual Festival of Trees' popularly known as tree decorating ceremony. It will begin being celebrated at The Grand Okanagan Lakefront Resort and Conference Centre in Kelowna on Nov 21st 2007 at 5.00 pm and will run from November 21, 2007 - January 3rd, 2008.

Although ' The Festival of Trees' is a fundraising event, over the years it has gained popularity as a holiday tradition and is a must see for Kelowna Residents. As far as corporate and individual sponsors are concerned, it is an excellent opportunity to display their community involvement. I love to go to ' The Festival of Trees ' to browse through the holiday display and enjoy beautiful decorations.

A community favourite, and one of the most anticipated events of the year, the Festival of Trees transforms hotel lobbies in three BC communities, Vancouver, Victoria and Kelowna, into lush forests of beautifully decorated trees.

Raising funds for BC Children's Hospital, the event sponsors, who include local business organizations and individuals, have the honour of decorating these trees in a unique and exciting fashion

If you would like to sponsor a tree at this year's event, then contact Kelowna Community for kids at 250-766-2370. All proceeds from this event go directly to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
