Theatre Kelowna can certainly come up with a more worthy person to nominate than Rubadeau who proved to be a disaster for School District 23. I am not happy with this nomination.

I would like to point out that one of the finalists for Civic Awards is a former president of a non profit society who violated the constitution of her society and it's by-laws on several counts, including the by-law that directors are required to act honestly. This person was openly criticized for her violations at the last general meeting of the Society and she did not have one single word with which she could defend herself.
Does honesty count anything in Kelowna,or can a person lie, condone lies and bullying and violate the constitution as she pleases because she was born in Kelowna, knows half of the town, and because she is related to one of the prominent and popular Kelowna's former politician? I would say no, but others may disagree, we are in Kelowna,BC after all.

Thank you City of Kelowna for not awarding one of your honours to the above mentioned person.Certainly a step in the right direction and perhaps even a proof that the rest of the country might be not right when they claim that BC is the most corrupt province in Canada.
