A Beautiful Summer evening in Kelowna

A summer evening in Kelowna can be a very delightful experience especially if you decide to take a walk by Lake Okanagan in downtown Kelowna. You can not only enjoy the natural beauty of the area but also get a glimpse of the Okanagan lifestyle.

I often buy an ice cream and walk by the lake with my dog observing people from all walks of life and taking in different sounds, sights and colors. You will often find teenagers skateboarding and biking by the lake, kids playing with Ogopogo (life size metal structure) and mothers trying to keep track of their children.

You will also see some young girls running on the beach in their efforts to stay fit, some old men just sitting and contemplating about serious issues of life and sport enthusiasts enjoying a game of volleyball, soccer and ultimate at the city park. Adventurous spirits can be seen having fun on their boats, skoo-doos and wakeboards, young lovers walking hand in hand or lost in conversation oblivion to the world and water lovers taking a swim .
Walk by the lake and enjoy an evening in Kelowna.
