A new downtown Kelowna restaurant- The Greenroom

A new restaurant called 'The Greenroom' has opened in the heart of Kelowna's cultural district on 101 - 1360 Ellis Street, Kelowna, British Columbia. Imagine a nice summer day and you are enjoying fresh salad and a sandwich sitting on a patio with friends or loved ones. Well, this is quite possible because 'The Greenroom restaurant ' has 32 outdoor patio seats along with 50 inside seats.

The Greenroom restaurant is owned and run by Nathan Flavel (GM and co-founder of Kelowna Actors Studio), Randy Leslie (the artistic director and co-founder of Kelowna Actors Studio), Donna and Gord Brayshaw (Art Supporters.)

The Greenroom restaurant will be open daily starting at 10.00 am until 4 pm (Monday- Wednesdays) and until midnight on Thursdays and Saturdays. The lunch menu at the Greenroom restaurant includes fresh salads, soups, pastas, sandwiches, wraps and paninis and dinner dishes are inspired by a cross section of cuisines and tastes. The Dinner menu includes items such as Three Cheese Lobster Mac & Cheese, the Ethiopian inspired Dukkah & Naan, plus a terrific selection of salads such as an Asian accented coleslaw, Som Tum Koolsla. The restaurant boasts a grand piano, and features local talent on most weekends. The menu is divided into Act One (cold) Act Two (hot) and Curtain Call (dessert).

The guests can also enjoy local and imported wines, beers, martinis and cocktails here. I haven't tried this restaurant yet but plan to do so soon. Have you eaten at 'The Greenroom' yet?

My husband and I have been to the Greenroom 3 times now and are totally impressed. The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. You must try their Key Lime Pie. I give it a 12/10. It's THE BEST!We're from Kamloops but would think nothing of driving down to Kelowna for the day just to have lunch at the Greenroom.
