A Rainy Day in Kelowna

It has been drizzling in Kelowna since yesterday. The skies were clear in the morning but by noon it started getting cold and soon it was raining. Kelowna receives about 12 inches of rain in a year. Rain is considered good for the Okanagan as it helps contain forest fires in the region and is a big relief for firefighters.

While some people love rain I am not one of them. However, today was the perfect day to catch up with old friends and to have some coffee or to snuggle in bed with some hot snacks and read your favourite book. You could have also chosen to just sit back and relax, look out through the window, enjoy nature and I am sure this would have brightened up your day and would have got you rejuvenated for the last day of the week.
