Kelowna residents take pride in their active lifestyles. In the early morning you can see them out for a jog, run or walk. In the afternoon they enjoy a round of Golf, take a dip in the lake Okanagan, go hiking/biking and in the evening play soccer, volleyball or one of the other interesting activities.
There are several agencies and organizations in Kelowna which are dedicated to address healthy living through policy or environmental change. One such organization is KickStart Kelowna. They organize various events in Kelowna, have partnership with other concerns to promote good health and try to create awareness about the benefits of physical activity.
