Book Launch- Saara's passage

On November 8, Karen Autio-a local children's author will launch her new book 'Saara's Passage' at the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Saara's Passage seems pretty interesting book:

After surviving one of the worst marine disasters in Canadian history, Saara Mäki still feels a little at sea. As the First World War looms, tuberculosis strikes her family, and Saara’s next passage takes her into entirely unfamiliar waters.

This is an open event and admission is by donation. There will be a presentation and book reading at 1:30 p.m and to make things more entertaining there will be door prizes for students and teachers who will attend the book launch.
