Canada Day Weekend Baseball Blast

This weekend Kelowna will witness a Baseball Blast as teams from all over B.C. will gather at Elks Stadium for a baseball tournament.

This event is being hosted by Kelowna Jays Baseball from June 28th to July 2nd and tournament teams include: Kamloops, Surrey, Red Deer, Prince George, Calgary, grand Prairie, Naniamo, Burnaby, St. Albert and Trail. Price for the winning team is $ 2500. I am excited for the first game which is between Kamloops and Kelowna today at about 7.30 pm. First 100 fans receive a prize from Pacific Western Brewery so I am hoping to get lucky.

Tournament's Championship game will be played on July 2nd at about 2.45 pm and being a Kelowna resident, I hope Kelowna wins it.
