Christmas celebrations at Kelowna library

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Christmas is only a few week away and the Okanagan Regional Library is ready to host free, fun filled events for Kelowna families this season. Check out the detaisl below:

The downtown Kelowna Branch at 1380 Ellis Street will have two showings of their Winter Puppet Show, a heart-warming tale called “The Snow Angel.” This program is best for children aged 3-6 years old and will be shown on Tuesday, December 8 at 11:30 a.m. and on Thursday, December 10 at 11:00 a.m. Your Kids will love this show so don't forget to take them to the library.

Admission is free and donations of non-perishable food items for the Kelowna Community Food Bank will be gratefully accepted.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Westbank Branch on 2484 Main Street (Hwy 97) on Dec. 9th at 6:30 p.m. Parents are welcome to bring cameras to capture photos with Santa and everyone can sing along with the Westsyde Ramblers, Joe and Rosie Lobb, as they play Christmas songs and carols. Again, this event is free and no registration is required. However donations to the Westbank Food Bank will be accepted.
