CIBC Run for the cure in Kelowna

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation has been working since last 20 years to create a future without breast cancer but still breast cancer remains the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian women. However, over the last 20 years, mortality rates have steadily declined. Due to excellent work done by Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and other community-minded groups, there is greater awareness about this disease among women.

The 16th annual Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure is being organized on Sunday, September 30, 2007 and Kelowna is proud to be part of it.
