Ever Increasing Gas Prices in Kelowna

Kelowna residents are often complaining about high gas prices in B.C and actually they are justified in their woes because gas prices in B.C seem to be ever increasing. Today I came across this article:

Some of Canada's most expensive gas can be found in British Columbia. Kelowna (at $1.283 a litre) is the most expensive city in Canada for a fill-up.- CBC News

Gas prices are higher in the Okanagan in the summer season than winters because of influx of visitors and this week gas prices in Kelowna reached an all-time high at $1.289 per litre. So, if you are planning to visit the Okanagan and are using a vehicle to get around then you might want to keep gas prices in mind.

Looking to avoid the high gas prices? You can try things like:

- Carpooling
- Public Transportation
- Biking
- Walking
- Riding a Scooter
- Or simply go on a vacation until gas prices come back down!
