Facing Challenges and Survival Tips for Kelowna Women

Kelowna Women in Business organization is holding its October Lunch on Wednesday, October 08, 2008 at Coast Capri Hotel. The lunch will start at 11.30 am and Sindi Hawkins, MLA Kelowna Mission, Deputy Speaker to the Legislative Assembly of BC will be the speaker for this session.

Sindi will guide the ladies regarding 'Facing Challenges - Tips for Survival.' The fee for attending this session is $25 for members of KWIB and $35 for non memebers.

Ms. Hawkins has been involved in preventing elder abuse, served on an anti-racism committee and worked with a non-profit society to aid visible minority and immigrant women. She has been involved with and has supported numerous charitable and non-profit fundraising events in her community.
