Free New Ventures BC seminar in Kelowna

The Okanagan Science and Technology Council is hosting a free Assessing the Opportunity seminar for Okanagan residents on February 17th, 2010 from 2-4pm at the Coast Capri Hotel (located on 1171 Harvey Avenue) in Kelowna, BC. Bob de Wit (an investor, mentor, director and consultant to growth-stage technology companies) will be speaker at this seminar.

This seminar could be really helpful for young entrepreneurs who would like to participate in New Ventures BC 2010 competition or simply want to present their next big idea to investors as it will include topics like putting together an elevator pitch or business opportunity statement, delving deeper into how to better understand- Investor Math, Appropriate capital structures,Industry standard investor materials and terms, Investor expectations for go-to-market strategies and how to put together a capital plan.
