Get ready for Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival

Are you ready for some excitement? Well, Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival which is one of the popular festivals of western Canada is just around the corner. The 10th annual traditional Dragon Boat festival is scheduled for Sept 12- 14th 2008.

Besides cheering up for my favourite team during the Dragon Boat Festival, I also enjoy live entertainment, great food and drinks and watching enthusiastic festival fans. Usually there are over 160 dragon boat teams, 4500+ competitors and a lot of spectators. You can register your team online until Sept 5th 2008. All races begin at waterfront park and are about 450 meters distance and seem a lot of fun.
