Get ready for Wakefest 2007 in Kelowna

One of the most popular annual events in Kelowna is Wakefest. Wakefest is the perfect opportunity for all to celebrate summer in the Okanagan as pro wakeboarders descend upon the town to show off their best tricks and skills. It also features the pro wakeboard tour with some of the world's best wakeboarders.

This event is a chance for tourists to enjoy the biggest beach party of the summer. Freestyle motocross races, bikini contests, a beer garden, action sports market, a festival village and live music shows make the event more colourful and popular among visitors.

This year the festival is being celebrated on the 6th,7th and 8th of July in Waterfront Park. So, mark your calendars, buy event passes and get ready for some fun.
