Greek House Restaurant in Lake Country/ Winfield

It was a beautiful summer evening and my husband proposed a long drive through the wilderness. He surprised me by taking me to this lovely Greek Restaurant in Lake Country/ Winfield called Greek House Restaurant. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the cool breeze.

The food was really yummy but the service was ordinary. I loved their Tzatziki which was basically a yogurt, cucumber & garlic dip with pita bread. Greek House Restaurant offers good Greek Platters to be shared by 2 people. There dinner entrees are priced from $12.00 to $35.00.

As I was sharing my delightful experience with one of my co-workers today she quibbled that she had been to this restaurant once, chose to sat inside, found that the tables were too close together, and a bit small to feel really comfortable. However, she highly recommended Moussaka, a popular Greek casserole dish with layers of spiced ground beef, zucchini, eggplant, & potatoes. I feel Greek House Restaurant is suitable for casual Greek dining.If you love Greek Cuisine, You must check this place out !

do poeople of kelowna have to make reservations for new years eve. If you do not how busy it will be do you think it will and if we want to have dinner here what time is a good time to be there if your resturant will be busy that night.

I was there once a couple years ago, and yes it has the standard Greek restaurant decor, but the food some of the best I have ever found.

The roast leg shoulder is a "must have" item.

I'll be back anytime I'm in town.
