Hone your Skills this Summer

There are several interesting activities which can be tried this summer like:

1. Learning Skating - The Kelowna Skating Club is one of the largest clubs in western Canada and has been operational since about 50 years. It offers programs for tots, kids, teenagers and adults. The Club, which operates Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring is located on 4105 Gordon Rd.

2. If you are bitten by the acting bug and want to audition for plays or simply want to enjoy learning acting then contact Kelowna Actors studio located on 1379 Ellis Street - (250) 862-2867. They are auditioning for various musicals all throughout the summer and are enrolling students for acting classes. Who knows, you might turn out to be next 'Tom Cruise.'

3. One of my friends keen on mastering martial arts has joined Taekwondo. She will be doing classes right along with her kids.

4. You can also learn to play a musical instrument such as the piano or violin.

5. If you are unsure of yourself and don't know which art you would like to try, then you can pay visit to Rotary Centre for Arts and discover your true passion.

6. If you are a world traveller or just a keen learner and want to pick up another language, Kelowna offers classes for learning new languages such as Italian, French, Spanish and German to name a few.
