It's time for some Golf

Kelowna has some beautiful golf courses which attracts golf lovers from all over the world. Kelowna provides a dazzling golf experience to beginners, intermediate as well as expert players. Most of the courses will simply blow your mind away with their phenomenal lake and breathtaking mountain views. In the Okanagan valley there are about 40 Golf courses and Kelowna boasts of 18 of them. My all time favourite golf course is Pinnacle Golf Cousre at Gallagher's Canyon because of its exceptionally lush fairways, panoramic views and smooth putting greens. If you are in the mood for a long drive and playing at this lovely Golf course consider driving up to Gallagher's Canyon which often hosts Golf events, wedding and banquets and has a full service clubhouse. Other popular golf courses include: The Harvest Golf Club, Orchard Greens, Kelowna Springs Golf Club, Bear/Quail Course at Okanagan Golf Club, Sunset Ranch and Shadow Ridge Golf Club. If you just want to practice putting then consider: Kelowna Springs Putting course, Michael Brook Ranch and 19 Greens Putting Course.

Just a few minutes drive to North of Kelowna leads to Vernon which has a spectacular 27 hole layout at Predator Ridge Golf Resort and offers some nice golf packages. Another awesome 18 hole golf course in Okanagan is located on Mara lake in Sicamous and is known as Hyde Mountain. So,if you want to enjoy a leisurely breakfast as the sun rises over the mountains or just want to sit back and sip a cool beverage then plan your next Golf trip to one of the Okanagan courses soon as these courses become really busy during the summer months.
