Kaloya Regional Park

Trying to decide what to do this weekend? Well, I'll suggest visiting ' Kaloya Regional Park'. Kaloya is located on 16061 Trask. Road, Oyama which is about 20-30 minute drive from Kelowna, BC. This family friendly park is located on the end of a pennisula that juts out into Kalamalka lake and if you are driving from Kelowna towards Vernon, you take Highway 97 north, turn right onto Oyama Road and turn left onto Trask Road to reach Kaloya.

The park is available to public from April to October. It is opened from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm (April 1st till Sept 6th) and 6.00 am to 8.00 pm (Sept 7th till Oct 31st). Although dogs, overnight camping, open fires and smoking are not permitted but Kaloya is a great place for a relaxing swim, boating, picnic with friends and family or for just sunbathing.
