Kelowna Apple Triathlon

This weekend many Kelowna residents are participating in the 26th annual Pushor Mitchell Apple Triathlon event(which is the only international Triathlon Union accredited event in Canada.) There are a lot of exciting prizes to be won and this Triathlon is for people of all ages.

Tha Kelowna Apple Triathlon Society (non profit Organization) plays a great role in this event and is made up of approximately 50 Directors and coordinators who volunteer their time to organize this race. It is due to the efforts of KATS that for the first time Triathlon Canada has awarded the National Championship to Kelowna for three consecutive years starting 2008.

Now, even if you are not participating, you can cheer for the participants and enjoy the spirit of the sport.
