Kelowna charities- United Way's 59th annual campaign

Kelowna has been very generous in supporting fundraising events and local charities. If you want to contribute or show your support for local causes then join United Way on Friday, September 18th 2009 for their 59th annual kick-off breakfast at Coast Capri Hotel (1171 Harvey Avenue, Kelowna.) The kick-off campaign breakfast is scheduled for 7.00 am to 8.30 am.

The United Way is committed to raising funds for 39 local Community Partner agencies, many of which are not able to promote themselves. The funds raised by United Way will stay within community and will cover a range of areas such as children, seniors and the homeless.
