Kelowna Real Estate

Okanagan’s wonderful lifestyle continues to attract an influx of new residents not only from different parts of Canada but from all over the world. Many people from far off places visit the Okanagan and then decide to make it their home for a lifetime. Real estate in Kelowna is quite lucrative since Kelowna is a growing community and there is lot of scope for development. On the other hand, it is challenging as there is tough competition among the players in the business. Open a local newspaper or magazine and you will see a flood of advertisements by realtors trying to woo buyers through mind capturing ads like ‘ Beautiful Lake-view homes, 'choose your Dream home now,’ ‘Fine homes, Famous Golf and Breathtaking views,’ ‘Luxury Living with an outstanding view,’ ‘Discover a balance between rustic charm and modern Elegance.’

One of the most talked about buildings is the Madison in Downtown Kelowna with the theme of ‘Upscale Downtown.’ It is being built opposite from the Kelowna Library on Ellis Street.

According to the builders:

“The large suites are a warm blend of classic and contemporary design featuring access to expansive private outdoor living terraces not seen anywhere in the Okanagan.”

In the Glenmore area, Verve Condominiums are one of the hottest new developments. The first phase of the project is complete and the second phase is on final stages of completion. These condominiums offer close proximity to shopping areas and other amenities.

According to the realtors, “These privately owned condominiums offer a resort style of living.”

However, it’s not easy to buy a place here as Kelowna houses are expensive here, the average house price is around $400,000 and can go up quite substantially depending on the location, decor and amenities provided.
