Kiss of the Spider woman at Kelowna Actors studio

Kelowna residents and visitors can now see the broadway smash hit 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' at Kelowna Actors studio (located on 1379 Ellis Street) which opened today, March 26th and will run Thursday to Sunday Evenings with Saturday matinees, until April 19th 2009. While viewing this great theatrical production, guests can enjoy some delicious dinner catered by the Greenroom Bistro. The dinner starts at 6:15 pm and show is scheduled for 8:00 pm.

Based on Manuel Puig's El Beso de la Mujer Arana, Kiss of the Spiderwoman has been translated into 27 languages, adapted into a play and a movie, as well as the award-winning musical including the hit songs Gimme Love, Dressing Them Up and Kiss of the Spider Woman. Audiences will inevitably get caught in the web of explosive music, enthralling dances and witty humour.

Kelowna Actors Studio’s production of Kiss of the Spider Woman is directed and choreographed by Nathan Flavel. It stars Tracy Ross as Aurora, the Spider Woman, Randy Leslie as Molina and Ryan Buehler as Valentine. The show is about a compelling friendship between two men sharing a jail cell and stories they share to escape prison brutality.
