Only two days are left to buy Seasons ski passes for Big White Ski Resort ( 45-60 minute drive from Kelowna) at a discounted price of $629 ( adult's season pass). Now, if you thought that is a little too expensive then why not visit Apex. You can buy a season's pass for Apex for only $539 (individual) and for a family pass you can get a discount of 15 % and get a season's pass for only $ 459. However, this is not an unlimited offer. It ends on Sept 30th 2007. So, even if you miss out on Big White's ski pass then you have another option, choose Apex. You can buy passes in store from Freeride (Penticton and Westbank), Apex Ski shop and in Kelowna from freshair and Island snow.

Apex is located about 90 minutes drive from Kelowna and about 30 minutes from Penticton. With an average temperature of -4º C, Apex receives about 600 cm of dry "Okanagan" powder each season and is one of the best small ski destinations in Canada. It is unlike some of the big ski resorts of B.C. (e.g. Whistler, Sun Peaks etc) but has its own charm. New for 2008 season is Prinoth grooming machine.
