Lovely Lakes of Okanagan

Last week while driving through B.C from the Okanagan to the Kootenays, I realised that the Okanagan truly has some lovely lakes which lend a special charm to the region. Whether it's lake Okanagan (the largest lake in the Okanagan region), Mara, Kalamalka, Oyama, Mabel, Shuswap or Skaha, each lake fascinates visitors with their sparkling green/blue waters, overlooking mountains and pristine sandy beaches.

The lovely lakes of the Okanagan region inspire the active nature lovers to go tubing, wake boarding, fishing, swimming, wind surfing, water skiing, camping etc. Several parks and beaches along each of the lakes make summers memorable and thrilling for those looking for some fun. Also, throughout the Okanagan, tourists can rent lakeview or waterfront cabins and be part of the Okanagan summer adventure.
