Nepalese and Indian at Everest Restaurant

After I finished my yoga class the other day I was looking for something to satisfy my hunger. I walked down Lawrence Avenue when I noticed a new Nepalese and East Indian Restaurant: Everest Restaurant.

I love trying new places and I have to admit that I was not left unsatisfied. I ordered the Lamb Curry and Butter Chicken along with Roti (wheat bread cooked in a clay oven). It was absolutely fantastic, both dishes were very savoury and definitely hit the spot.

The prices are very reasonable with appetizers ranging from $3.50 - $10.00 and Entrees under $11.00. There is a wide selection of of Soups, Meat Dishes, Vegetarian Dishes, Rice and Desserts

Nepalese Dishes include:

Chili Mushroom, Prawn Curry, Lamb Curry, Chicken Curry, Momo (minced beef stuffed in bread) and Secuwa (Grilled Pork/Beef with Nepalese Spices).

East Indian Dishes include:

Prawn Curry, Lamb Vindaloo, Karai Chicken (Chicken cooked in a rich sauce), Jeera Chicken (Chicken cooked in cummin), Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potato) and many many more...

Whether you are looking for lunch, dinner, take-out, a romantic dinner for 2, or even dinner for the entire family, I would definitely recommend trying Everest Restaurant. Call 762-7000 - Located on 573 Lawrence Avenue.
