Passionate Friends at Kelowna Community Theatre

The fans of Okanagan Symphony wouldn't want to miss their new performance called 'Passionate Friends' at Kelowna Community Theatre on Friday, February 27th 2009 starting 8.00 pm. The tickets for the show can be purchased at Ticketmaster.

The emotional intensity of friendship in the Romantic tradition forms the basis of a performance of the music of Brahms and Dvorak. Johannes Brahms' Third Symphony (F Major) was presented as a birthday gift to Clara Schumann, widow of composer Robert Schumann, a tribute to their long-standing friendship.

You can also enjoy 'Passionate Friends' either at Penticton or Vernon. It is scheduled to open at Penticton's Cleland Theatre on Saturday, February 28 at 7:30pm and on Sunday, March 1st at 7 pm in Vernon Performing Arts Centre.
