Rock for Kids 2008

Power 104 and Whiski Jacks are presenting Rock For Kids 2008 on Sunday, December 7th, 2008. Party will begin at noon and you can either stay for the whole day or just have fun for few hours. Jimmy Leguilloux will assemble over a dozen bands along with personalities from Power 104 at Whiski-Jacks to raise money for Kids care.

Kids Care is operated as a public service by radio stations, CKOV63 and Power 104 and area TD Canada Trust Bank branches.Kids Care began operations on May 5, 1995. Since then, the organization has raised about $1.4 million in support of children in the Okanagan.Kids Care was instrumental in renovating the Kelowna General Hospital’s Pediatric Ward and building a Children’s Health Centre in it’s place. The charity’s contribution to this project was approximately $800,000.
