Romantic Dinner at Yellow House

I had seen 'Yellow House Restaurant' many times while strolling the downtown streets of Kelowna but it never seemed tempting because it is so unlike regular restaurants. However, my husband made reservations for dinner at Yellow House for our anniversary and I had no choice but to go.

Yellow house Restaurant is literally a yellow colored house converted into a restaurant. The restaurant doesn't have a great view but it certainly has a good food.There is plenty of sitting space outside the restaurant , inside and upstairs.

Yellow House proved to be much more cozy and romantic than I had thought. If you want a quiet evening, I would suggest reserving a table on the first floor. I tried ' Baked Chicken with stone dijon goatcheese cream and roast potatoes' and was absolutely delighted. The dish was very flavorful and fresh. I would also recommend 'Stuffed Breast of Duck with pecan, spinach and fresh thyme stuffing, merlot reduction along with mashed potatoes.'
