Sizzling Summer Events in Kelowna

Wake Fest is finally over and if you missed it this year, then start making plans to visit Kelowna next year for this outrageous event. Apparently, it was a huge success except for a few minor problems here and there. The event was sold out weeks before the due date and people who missed out on tickets were a little upset.

For a list of winners and pictures check out: Wakefest Kelowna

On Monday, July 9th Kelowna welcomed Prime Minister Stephen Harper who was visiting the city for the first time since taking power. Conservative party members were quite excited to have him amongst them to enjoy an Okanagan style BBQ.

Kelowna Actors Studio is gearing up for an interesting production called 'Hello Dolly' which is based on the Play "The Matchmaker" by Thornton Wilder. Starting from July 12th 2007, this production will run until August 4th 2007. For tickets visit Kelowna Actors Studio

Let me also introduce you to Kelowna Falcons, a local baseball team which is playing all throughout the summer at Elks Stadium. Check out their upcoming games at Kelowna Falcons

If you thought there was nothing to do in Kelowna, well you thought WRONG!
