Ski in Kelowna at Big White

Ski season at Big White is over but the charm and popularity of the resort can be gauged by the fact that so many tourists and residents have already started making plans and reservations for the next season. Big White is situated on the edge of the Monashee mountains, a mere 56 km and about 30 minutes drive from Kelowna city.

Although Big White is British Columbia's second biggest ski resort, it is still relatively undiscovered. As most of the properties in Whistler, B.C ( one of the most popular ski destinations in Canada) require that the guests checking in must be at least 25 yrs old, most of the youngsters turn towards other ski resorts like Silver Star, Sun Peaks and Apex.

As a travel consultant, I have noticed that a lot of people from Australia, U.K, U.S.A and New Zealand are enthusiastic about skiing in Okanagan. Having visited Okanagan ski resorts personally, I know that good snow conditions are one of the main features which attracts the skiers from all over the world to British Columbia.
