Sonnie Trotter at the Okanagan Heritage Museum

If you love rock climbing or have interest in the sport then I am sure you've heard about British Columbia based professional rock climber Sonnie Trotter who has been climbing since he was sixteen. You can meet Sonnie Trotter in person on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at The Okanagan Heritage Museum where he will share his passion for Rock Climbing, adventures and photography with Kelowna residents. A few people know that besides climbing, Sonnie is also a writer, photographer, and public speaker.

Sonnie Trotter has been featured in many films and magazines, including "The Cobra Crack"(2006) and "If You're Not Falling"(2008), which both won for best short film at the Banff Mountain Film Festival. His presentation at the Okanagan Heritage Museum is in conjunction with the current exhibit, On Solid Ground, and is part of the Summer Lecture Series.
