The Taste of Westbank 2009

We Kelownians love our food and are always open to trying new restaurants. Now, Imagine if you are giving away $50 for a charity and you get to enjoy some good food and beverages? Wouldn't it be a win-win situation for everyone. Well, 'The Taste of Westbank 2009' being organized from 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm on Saturday, Sept 26th 2009 is one such fun filled charity event. The Taste of Westbank is the annual fundrasing event of the Rotary Club of Westbank with tickets priced at $50/person. The Tickets can be purchased from The UPS Store, #22-2475 Dobbin Road in West Kelowna.

The guests at 'The Taste of Westbank 2009' will sample a delicious variety of culinary delights from some of the finest restaurants in Westbank while enjoying live entertainment and participating in a live and silent auction. The Westbank Rotary Club is excited to present a Mardi Gras theme for the venue and the event will take place at the Westbank Community Hall (located at 2 - 2466 Main Street, Westbank). The Westbank Rotary Club will be dedicating the proceeds from this fundraising event to the Westbank Town Center Community Water Park, slated to open in the summer of 2010.
