Tubing at Big White

Although Big White ski resort (56 km from Kelowna) is popular for skiing and snowboarding, one of my favourite activities to do up there is Tubing. I just love to jump in a tube and speed downhill on one of North America’s finest resort tubing park.

The tubing park at Big White is located in Happy Valley, just a short gondola ride from the Village Centre. This exciting ride is one of the most fun filled activities up on the mountain. So, if you want to enjoy this ride, then buy tickets from the Happy Valley Day Lodge, Village Centre Mall or at the Cabin located at the base of the tube park.

While I was there I noticed a few families had started a fire to keep warm and additionally they had brought -hotdogs and marshmellows to roast over the fire - what a wonderful idea! Another good idea would be to bring a few varieties of Tim Horton's donuts along with some of their hot chocolate to enjoy them with. What better way to enjoy an entire day of tubing then to follow it up with some delicious snacks in between.
