Vancouver 2010 Torch Relay in West Kelowna

The 106-day Olympic Torch Relay, which is presented by Coca-Cola and RBC and supported by the Government of Canada, will visit more than 1,030 communities and places of interest in every province and territory. The District of West Kelowna is proud to be one of Torch Relay Route's Community. Vancouver 2010 Torch Relay will come to West Kelowna on Jan 25th 2010 which will be the day 88 for the 2010 Winter Olympics Torch Relay.

The District of West Kelowna is hosting a free community celebration on Jan 25th 2010 to enjoy and celebrate this exciting opportunity. Check out the details of celebrations below:

LIGHT THE WAY from 4:30 - 6 p.m.
Welcome the Olympic Torch as it passes through Mount Boucherie Parking Lot

JOIN THE COMMUNITY CELEBRATION from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Royal LePage Arena will host musical performances by local schools followed by parade of Champions
Residents will be able to meet torchbearers here and take photos

FREE FAMILY SKATE from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m at Jim Lind Arena

So join your fellow residents in these exciting 2010 Torch Relay celebrations by coming down with a flashlight, glowstick, Canadian flag or get in the olympic mood by wearing red and white.
