This holiday season (2010), Kelowna residents and visitors can enjoy a new stage adaptation of the beloved classic film White Christmas which was released in 1954 starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen. Did you know that 'White Christmas' movie grossed $12 million in theatre rentals and held the number one position as the top money-making picture of 1954? It is also one of the most popular movie musical rentals of all time.
Kelowna audience is really lucky to be able to see this classic Christmas movie musical newly adapted for the stage. This musical has played to packed houses across North America, delighting audiences of all age groups. White Christmas musical show is being presented by Orchard Park Shopping Centre at Kelowna Actors Studio from November 25th till December 19th, 2010. The tickets for the show are available at the on-site box office, across from the public library or by calling 250-862-2867.

Lovely, but this isn't over the holiday season as your promo suggests. Back in the UK we have theatre and pantomime running right over the holiday season excluding only Christmas and New Year's Day. That is- when Mum and Dad and the kids are all off work and school. We went to a panto a couple of years ago, on Boxing Day. I wish there was a little more of that culture here.
