Winter Courses at Rotary Centre For The Arts

Let's start New Year with some exciting news like new winter courses being offered at Rotary Centre for the Arts.

If you have kids who are into painting then do enroll them into painting classes by RCA resident artist Tari Do Bello. On Tuesday afternoons, starting January 13th' 08 until February 3rd 08, Tari DiBello will be offering a new painting course for children (grades K-2) titled Learning about impressionist Colour. This course is designed by Getty Museum in LA and will teach students about the Impressionist painters' use of colour. In this course:

Students will have the opportunity to explore combinations of primary and secondary colours, experiment creating secondary colours, and create a landscape using complementary colours.

Classes will be held from 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm at Scotiabank Room and are priced at $45/child.

If your children are into Scrapbooking then they can attend a workshop called 'Making Scrapbook Cards or Chapbooks for Young People' for ages 11-16, on Saturday, January 17th starting 10.00 pm until 1.00 am for $50.00

There are several other interesting winter courses in Dance, Music, Acting etc. These courses are designed for different age groups and are priced from $5.00- $85.00. Some classes are incorporated into one day workshops and can be a lot of fun.
